The approved purchase includes a 2026 Freightliner 108SD single-axle truck chassis quoted at $129,671 from Wolverine Freightliner of Mount Clemens and truck build and equipment quoted at $194,007.95 from Truck and Trailer Specialties of Howell, for a total of $324,466. Staff said funding to cover the overage is available due to savings from a prior forestry truck purchase.
