Staff presented a special use permit application for a massage-therapy business, Anantra Thai Massage, at 4508 Colleyville Boulevard, Suite B. The site is CC-1 Village retail zoning and massage therapy is permitted with a special use permit.
Applicant materials submitted to the city include a business plan, a floor plan showing conversion of office space to a Thai massage studio, and a sign exhibit. Staff said the Collierville Police Department completed an initial review and that the preliminary indications were favorable.
The business’ LLC was established in February (staff cited formation date), and staff reminded commissioners the applicant does not yet have a certificate of occupancy and cannot operate until required approvals and permits are in place.
Commissioners had no outstanding concerns at the work session; staff will continue review and present findings at the public hearing, including the police department’s final report.
