The following motions and recorded outcomes were taken during the Chickasha Mayor and Council meeting and subsequent municipal-authority items on Oct. 27.
- Accept and ratify the financial audit for fiscal year ending 06/30/2022 (Agenda Item 3c): Approved by roll call. Recorded affirmative votes included Nelson, Guillen, Hebblethwaite, Alexander, Burrows, Gerdes and Boyd.
- Accept and ratify letter of engagement with HSPG and Associates LLC to perform audits for fiscal years 2023 and 2024 and authorize the mayor to execute the same (Agenda Item 3d / also considered later by municipal authority): Approved by roll call. Recorded affirmative votes on the council included Eliphwhite, Alexander, Burrows, Ernest, Boyd, Nelson, Ginn and Grayson. The municipal authority also recorded approval in its session.
- Approve Ordinance 25-4 amending Chapter 2 to provide the council shall appoint two council members to serve on the Aviation Board (Agenda Item 6b): Motion carried on roll call; affirmative votes recorded by a majority of members present. Council discussion focused on advisory-board communication and the board's advisory role.
- Approve Change Order No. 1 for CMA 2405, Lift Station Rehabilitation (20 Third Street and Grama Avenue) (Agenda Item 4a): Motion carried on roll call; recorded affirmative votes included Alexander, Burris, Gerdes, Boyd, Nelson, Ginn, Hebblethwaite and Grayson.
- Approve contract with Falcon Flight Performance for the 2025 Wings and Wheels Airshow and Car Show and authorize the chairman to execute the same (Municipal Airport Authority Agenda Item 4a): Approved on roll call during the airport authority meeting. Staff said the contract was a late addition to the show lineup but that previously approved performers remain scheduled.
