- Approve minutes as written: Motion made and approved by voice vote.
- Approve claims in the amount of $774,472.52: Motion made and approved by voice vote.
- Approve agenda as presented: Motion made and approved by voice vote.
- Enter executive session for legal and non-elected personnel matters: Motion carried with a roll indicated as 2 to 1 in favor of entering executive session; board returned with items for staff follow-up but no ordinance-level action recorded.
- Mowing contract: The board voted to enter a contract with Scarecrow Farm Lawn Care for county property mowing and authorized the chairman to sign the contract. Motion was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
- City compactor agreements: The board voted to sign compactor agreements with the cities of Blue Mound, Lacey, Mound City, Parker, Prescott and Pleasanton (two copies for Pleasanton were included). The agreements were approved "as is" by voice vote; staff discussed that city-chosen compactor sites would be constructed by the cities while the county would maintain county-provided personnel shelters adjacent to compactors.
- RFP for website development: The board authorized publication of an RFP for website development to run for two weeks with proposals due to county staff by April 23 and review to begin April 28; motion approved by voice vote.
- Hire: Commissioners approved hiring Jenny (Ginny) Cummings for a Clerk 1 position in Public Works at $17.9905 per hour; motion moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
- Other routine items: The commissioners received reports from the sheriff, AMR and county departments, and accepted the county engineer's annual road report previously submitted to the state.
