Administrators introduced a new promotional video produced in partnership with Shafer Video Productions that the district plans to launch on social media and distribute to staff and families.
Presenters described the year‑long project as a storytelling piece that captures academic programs, extracurriculars and community life across the district. The district said the footage includes snapshots from graduation and other events across the past year; staff credited principals, an English teacher who drafted script text, videographers associated with the district’s athletic coverage, and a staff member who provided voice work for the final edit.
The presenters described the piece as intended to showcase staff commitment and student opportunities and said they planned to make the video public the following morning. They also said the video included a brief, unplanned appearance by a recently deceased student; staff reported they reached out to the family and the family consented to keep the student in the edit.
Board members thanked the presenters and praised the internal collaboration. District officials said the video would be shared first with staff and the board and then launched across the district’s social channels.
