The board moved and approved the resolution to permit those excused absences consistent with the Education Code; Member Martin moved the item and Member Ahmad seconded. Student board representatives recorded an "aye." The board carried the motion by voice vote.
Student expulsion — Case 1‑25‑26 Approved. The board heard details of the student case in closed session and, upon recommendation of staff, voted to approve expulsion case 1‑25‑26. Member Martin moved and Member Meehan seconded the motion; the board approved the expulsion by voice vote.
