Corso told commissioners that during the period when extensions were not formally executed the department nonetheless adhered to the original scope and reimbursement terms and continued operations at the Presidio station. He said the department receives annual reimbursement for the Presidio services; the amount included in the department’s proposed next‑year budget is approximately $5.9 million.

Corso said the award requires a $212,400 general‑fund match already included in the department’s budget and that the grant term runs through April 2027.
