Tunkhannock district reports surge in Right-to-Know requests, $5,500 in legal fees so far

The official said district staff has spent about 30 hours processing the requests and that legal fees this year total about $5,500 so far; the official noted an additional bill for the most recent month had not yet been received and the legal-cost figure is likely to increase.
Board members discussed the workload and acknowledged the resource impact; no formal action was taken on the report.
The official asked board members to note the volume when considering administrative workload and potential staffing or policy responses.
