While some basic nutrition services remain operational, the main stabilization center in the camp was said to be closed due to lack of essential medical supplies, placing severely malnourished children at extreme risk.
In a meeting with aid organizations, administrative authorities in the town of Tawla in North Darfur agreed to reopen roads to enable aid deliveries to Zamzam and Abu Shuk camps and to displaced communities in El Fasher. The UN reiterated that immediate de-escalation and compliance with obligations under international humanitarian law are critical to ensuring safe and sustained access for lifesaving assistance.
