The El Paso County Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the final plat for New Breed Ranch Filing No. 3.
Commissioner Trowbridge moved that the commission "recommend approval in accordance with the attached resolution with 7 conditions, 4 notations, and a finding of sufficiency with regard to water quality, quantity, and dependability, and that this item be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for their consideration." Commissioner Fuller seconded the motion. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with all eight voting members recorded as voting in the affirmative.
The recommendation forwards the final plat and the attached resolution — including seven staff conditions and four notations — to the Board of County Commissioners for final action. The motion included an explicit finding that water quality, quantity and dependability were sufficient, as stated in the motion.
The hearing record shows no substantive public opposition during the commission deliberations. Staff present for the meeting included Miss Harrington and Mr. Kilgore; staff did not present unresolved objections on the record during the commission vote.
The commission's action is a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners; final approval or denial will be decided by that board at a subsequent meeting. No additional implementation deadlines or effective dates were stated during the commission discussion.
