District maintenance update: tennis courts open, baseball building and roof work underway

He said the baseball building project is progressing, with visible trusses in place, and that pole relocation work took place to support the site.
Beecher reported two roofs requiring attention—one at Barrington and another on the south side of an unnamed facility—and said the district will involve architects and engineers (A&E) for design and bidding. He said engineers for an innovative school model completed inspections at seven elementary schools and the district is finalizing plans for approval by the fire marshal before opening bids.
He also said the new dishwasher at Southside will be operational March 25 and that maintenance staff have been working to ensure air conditioning systems are ready for warmer weather. "We're in really good shape across the district with our heating and air as compared to at other times," Beecher said.
No formal action was required; the update served as an informational briefing to the board.
