Talbot County school board hears positive results from Yondr phone-pouch pilot at Easton Middle School

Kelly Murdock, principal of Easton Middle School, told the Talbot County Board of Education on March 19 that a district pilot of Yondr phone pouches, launched Dec. 2, has reduced in-school phone incidents and improved classroom focus.
The pilot assigns every student a lockable Yondr pouch that students keep in their iPad case during the day, Murdock said. Students unlock the pouches at staggered dismissal using mounted magnets or cart-based units.
