Kingston school board votes on three executive-session items, approves settlement and nominations

The Kingston City School District Board of Education returned to open session and approved three actions taken during executive session, including a personnel settlement and two board nominations.

The board voted to adopt a settlement agreement and general release with an employee identified in the minutes as "employee number 5358" and authorized the superintendent to sign the agreement. The board then nominated Suzanne Jordan for election to an at-large seat on the Ulster County Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) for a three-year term running July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028.
