Staff hires announced; SENS public‑art installations nearly complete

On the SENS project, staff reported 24 of 26 installations are complete. Two pieces remain: one at Encinal Park and one that requires electricity; staff said they are evaluating placement at Plaza Del Sol for the electrical site and will update the commission when resolved. Staff described public reaction as positive and said they are taking steps to secure moving parts on interactive pieces to prevent damage.
