Navajo County sheriff briefs Show Low council on task force drug seizures and regional partnerships

The sheriff said the county and municipal agencies "work very closely" on shared services such as dispatch, SRT and task forces and noted the sheriff's obligation to report how funding and operations perform. "We're now receiving a million dollars from a state appropriation to help fund the operations of MCAT," he said, adding that the infusion has helped fund positions at higher rates and improve enforcement activity.
