Board adopts Sergeant’s Association agreement; commissioners record unanimous vote

Yolona Goldner, Nye County human resources director, presented the agreement and answered questions from the board. Commissioners moved, seconded and called the question without further public comment. The board chair announced the vote: the motion carried 5-0.
The item was a timed presentation and county staff advised that fiscal impacts from the agreement are included in the backup materials and will be reflected in the FY2026 budget process where required.
