Member 3 observed that the applicant "plans a big neon sign" and said the applicant had purchased an additional parcel for it. Member 2 moved to accept the submission as meeting the board's criteria; Member 1 seconded the motion and the board voted in favor.
On 3727 East River, members described the new work as having an "in-law" vibe that could alternatively be a master suite; the project includes a new garage and conversion of the existing garage to another use. Member 2 moved to accept the submission "as long as it meets the criteria," and Member 3 seconded. During discussion Member 3 noted, "There is a variance application it did not go yet," indicating the applicant is seeking a side-yard setback variance that had not been filed at the time of the meeting. The board voted to accept the submission as presented.
