After closed session, Granbury council authorizes three development-related assignments and agreements

After convening an executive session on March 18, 2025, the Granbury City Council returned to open session and authorized three development-related actions by voice vote, each recorded as passing unanimously.
1) The council authorized the city manager to execute an assignment of the current development draw agreement from Beachfork Agriculture LLC to Pirates Cove Real Estate LLC. Councilmember Wadley moved the motion and it was seconded; the council approved it by voice vote (recorded as passing 6-0).
2) The council authorized the city manager to execute a development agreement with Marianne Williamson Trust to upsize a sewer main from 8 inches to 12 inches to support future development, and to amend the related Financial/Infrastructure Agreement (FIA) to reflect cost allocations for that upsizing. The motion was moved and seconded and approved by voice vote (6-0).
3) The council authorized the city manager to enter into an assignment from PDOF Granbury LLC to Gentry Mills and to execute the Granbury estoppel agreement tied to that assignment. The council moved, seconded and approved the action by voice vote (6-0).
Minutes state the council reconvened into open session at 9:32 p.m. and noted no action was taken while in closed session. The subsequent motions in open session authorized the city manager to execute the assignments and agreements described above; staff will follow up with the executing documents and any required record updates.
