The project came in under budget, staff said: the board had budgeted about $140,000 and the low proposal arrived at $108,778. The county’s share was presented as $54,389 during the motion; elsewhere staff referenced $54,003.89 as the county portion. During the meeting the board recorded the motion with the $108,778 total and $54,389 county portion.
Commissioners voted to accept the proposal and move forward with financing; roll-call votes were recorded in support. Staff said work will proceed under the standard contracting process and that financing will cover the county portion.
