City staff said the gift will be applied first toward a new steel canopy and improvements to the existing stage and building, with terrace seating and upgraded sound and lighting systems also planned. "With that new steel canopy structure, that'll help us be able to use it a lot more in this early spring and late fall," a city presenter said during the meeting.
