Victorville council approves stencil truck, GE access road, asset‑management software and consent calendar; schedules policy item on council reimbursement

The Victorville City Council on March 18 approved multiple operational contracts and routine items, including purchase of a stencil truck, a construction agreement for a private access road at Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA), and a citywide asset management and work‑order system.

Consent calendar: The council approved items 2 through 12 as a consent calendar. Council Member Irving moved, and Council Member Godin seconded. The clerk recorded a roll‑call vote in which Council Member Godin, Council Member Irving, Council Member Jones and Mayor Becerra voted yes. Mayor Pro Tem Herriman was absent.

Stencil truck purchase: City staff said the stencil truck supports striping and legend work across the city’s roughly 450–500 lane miles. The council approved a piggyback purchase from Roadline Products USA, not to exceed $165,663.94, under cooperative contract number 091521‑NAF. Council Member Jones moved to adopt staff’s recommendation and a second was recorded; the motion passed with Mayor Pro Tem Herriman absent.
