Comcast seeks Riverton council support for state broadband grant application

Proper asked the council for a nonexclusive letter of support as part of Comcast's application; he said the state indicated a letter would suffice rather than a formal resolution.
Mayor Staggs thanked the speaker and asked Comcast to leave contact information so staff could coordinate whether a letter or formal resolution is appropriate. City staff said they would follow up to determine whether a simple letter on council letterhead or a formal resolution would be required and to confirm next steps.
