Council adopts new mission and vision statements for City of Murphy

Through strong governance, transparency, and fiscal responsibility, we will enhance infrastructure, economic vitality, and quality of life for all residents.” He also read the new vision statement, which describes Murphy as “a safe, connected, and dependable city where families thrive, businesses prosper, and diversity is celebrated.”
Councilmember comments at the meeting were supportive; a motion to approve the resolution passed on a voice vote with no roll-call tally recorded in the transcript.
