Commissioners approved staff's recommendation to name SCED as the grant administrator and inspection services provider for the CDBG housing rehabilitation program after an RFP produced a single responsive firm. The motion passed by voice vote.
The commission also approved renewal of the city's property, liability, vehicle and equipment insurance with EMC. Staff reported the EMC proposal is about $420,002 for the coming year, up from last year's $382,864; staff said the budget contains the increase.
