District staff said they provided storage and transport equipment and trained staff across the district; training and annual replenishment are covered by an opioid settlement program with a planned replenishment runway of about 10 years.
"We have been successful in this deployment," a district presenter said, and confirmed that naloxone has a one‑year shelf life and will be replenished through the settlement proceeds on an annual cycle.
Committee members asked about shelf life and sustainability; staff confirmed the one‑year shelf life and that the settlement funding will support replenishment for the foreseeable planning window.
