Louis Girdeth, division manager for the Solid Waste Management Division in the Environmental Services Department, and Hailey Falk, business services manager on the Rates and Budget team, told the committee the current flat fee of $75 per appointment has not been updated since 2014 and no longer reflects the city’s cost of service.
