Union County plans to expand Family Clinic services to include child wellness visits and immunizations

The Union County Department of Human Services told commissioners it is expanding services at the Union County Family Clinic to add child wellness visits while maintaining immunization services.
Director Anderson said the clinic is a partnership that will bring Dr. T and his team into the clinic to provide wellness checks and immunization work. The expansion is intended to help families who have difficulty arranging separate wellness visits and immunizations required for school entry.
Commissioners praised the clinic’s work and noted its benefit across municipalities in the county. Commissioner Kowalski also congratulated Director Anderson on being elected president of the National Association of Counties’ human services administrators group (NACo’s human services administrators), a recognition commissioners noted during the meeting.
