Council member Kraeland asked whether the expenditure had already been accounted for in the upcoming budget cycle. Reynolds responded that the purchase had been considered and that the planned capital item would be moved into the current year by reallocating funds, rather than adding a new expense to next year's capital list.
The motion to reallocate the funds passed by unanimous voice vote.
The council noted this is a capital expenditure that would also be included in the budget the council is currently reviewing.
