The Hooksett Planning Board voted to amend two subsections of Part 1, Section 9.05 of the town’s Development Regulations to remove obsolete references to a construction monitoring fee and account and replace them with language describing a planning board escrow used to fund engineering review and inspection.
Grant explained the change was administrative: the town no longer maintains the specific construction monitoring account that the regulations list, and the revised language instead describes the purpose of a planning board escrow — funding engineering review and construction inspections performed by the town engineer or consultant.
Grant said the edits show deleted language and proposed additions and that the change was intended to clarify how the town collects and uses funds for engineering review, rather than to impose a new fee. The board opened the public hearing, received no public comment, and closed it.
A motion to approve the amendments to Part 1, Section 9.05 (both subsections 8 and 9 as posted) passed on roll call with all members voting yes.
