Closed session: At about 7:12 p.m. the council voted to adjourn into a closed session to confer with labor negotiators. The motion was moved and seconded on the record; the subsequent roll-call vote was unanimous. The council later reported returning from closed session with nothing to report.
Consent calendar: The council approved the consent calendar (items 4 through 9) by roll-call vote; the minutes show each councilmember voting yes.
