Council notes mapping error in CR Point Specific Plan packet; correct map to be used when annexation moves forward

City staff told the Oakdale City Council on March 17 that the map included in the annexation packet for the CR Point Specific Plan was an old version and did not reflect a swap of land-use designations the council approved at an earlier meeting. Staff said the correct map swaps the very-low-density residential area south of Twilio and the high-density area east of Stearns (as previously decided), and that the packet will be corrected before final action.
The council then considered the consent agenda, including the CR Point Specific Plan annexation item. After discussion and confirmation that the packet error was limited to the map image (not the written description of the swap), the consent agenda passed on a 4–1 roll-call vote. One council member recorded a “no” vote on the consent agenda.
Staff said the corrected map will be attached when the annexation item returns for final approval, and that the city will ensure the published packet matches the council’s prior direction.
