Menomonee Falls reports busiest year for housing permits and steady economic growth in 2024

Tyler, a planning staff member for the Village of Menomonee Falls, presented the village's 2024 Development and Community Status Report on March 17, saying the community issued more than 1,000 building permits last year and that the village's population is "over 40,000."
The report, Tyler said, showed a record year for residential construction with 43 single-family homes approved (the highest since 2004) and 80 duplex units approved; overall construction value from new construction and remodels exceeded $116 million. "We had over a thousand building permits issued this past year, which is our greatest on record going back 25 years," Tyler said.
