The application sought multiple exterior changes: replacement of second-floor fixed windows with operable black windows to meet egress needs; replacement of an oak frieze with an oak header detail; new black windows and doors at the rear; replacement or repair of coping with synthetic terra cotta and new aluminum coping caps; and replacement/painting of existing siding. The applicant said most glass openings would remain but the framing would be rebuilt to improve condition and make the windows operable.
