The Village of Jackson Personnel Committee voted unanimously Tuesday to enter a closed session to discuss the village's 2025 employee compensation plan and the 2025 performance review of the village administrator during its 5:30 p.m. meeting June 10.
Under Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(c), which permits closed sessions to consider employment promotion, the committee moved to go into closed session for the compensation plan and the administrator review. Before the closed session, the committee approved the minutes of its May 15 personnel committee meeting.
Trustee Emerick moved to approve the May 15 minutes, and Trustee Kripke seconded the motion. The committee approved the minutes by voice vote. Later, Trustee Kripke moved that the committee go into closed session for the stated personnel matters; Trustee Emerick seconded the motion. The committee conducted a roll-call vote with President Heckendorf, Trustee Emerick and Trustee Kripke each voting “Aye.” The roll-call vote was 3-0 in favor of entering closed session.
