At its June 4 meeting, the Iredell County Planning Board voted unanimously to recommend approval of a conventional rezoning request to change a 4.436-acre parcel on Oswald Amity Road from Residential Agricultural to General Business to allow a contractor—s facility and associated office space.
Staff planner Leslie presented the request on behalf of the county. Leslie said the property adjoins an employment center designated in the county—s 2045 Horizon Plan and is near existing nonresidential uses and Troutman—s future land-use designation, and staff recommended support.
