The finance committee considered Resolution 2025-022, authorizing a lease agreement with Skyline Towers LLC for continued use of Kachemak Emergency Service Area emergency communications tower space.
Mr. Hughes described the request and said the borough negotiated a long-term lease with new property owners at the Skyline tower location. When asked about the term, Hughes said the lease includes an initial five-year term with subsequent renewals likely of four or five years.
Committee members asked no further substantive questions on the resolution during the finance committee session; no formal vote was recorded in the transcript.
