The Board of Supervisors held a special‑order hearing at 3 p.m. on May 6 on an appeal of a Public Works decision to approve a tentative parcel map for a two‑lot subdivision and four new condominium units at 2–4 Addison Street. The appellant withdrew the appeal shortly before testimony; the appellant and project sponsor both addressed the board.
Nicole Miller, the appellant, said she withdrew after the developer measured boundary markers and that she remains concerned about neighborhood impacts, including traffic, safety at a nearby bus stop and the effect on children in the area. The project sponsor said the parcel map was approved tentatively by Public Works, that they would comply with any Department of Public Works requirements during permitting, and that they remain open to discussion with neighbors.
Because the appellant withdrew, the board approved the motion to affirm Public Works’ decision and approve the tentative parcel map (item 35) and tabled two motions that would have conditionally disapproved the decision and directed preparation of disapproval findings (items 36 and 37). The board approved item 35 (vote recorded by roll call) and tabled items 36 and 37 by unanimous voice votes. President Mandelmann encouraged the sponsor and neighbors to continue to work together and offered contact information for his office.
