The board discussed a proposal to apply to the Tennessee Department of Safety to place a self-service driver services kiosk at Nolensville Town Hall.
Vice Mayor Salamida and other commissioners flagged a recently installed kiosk at the Nolensville Williamson County Recreation Center. Victor and staff confirmed that a kiosk is already available at the county recreation center and said the town would seek to add a second kiosk for driver license transactions at Town Hall to improve local convenience.
The kiosk can perform some driver-services transactions and may support Real ID-related activity if the applicant already has documents on file with the Department of Safety. Officials described the item as cooperative and said they will proceed with the application process to the Department of Safety. No funding decision was required at the work session; staff will follow the Department of Safety’s application steps.
