Business licenses: The council approved licenses for Wally's Tire and Ezy Peasy Transport. Staff reported the Wally's Tire license had been issued and noted Ezy Peasy Transport would operate as a home-office pickup and delivery service using a pickup and fifth-wheel trailer and would not store inventory at the residence. The motion to accept both business licenses was made by Lisa Miller, seconded by Devin Wilson, and carried by voice vote.
Beautification/flower bid: The council reviewed two bids for planting/flower beautification. Staff identified a bid from a Richfield vendor the council has used for the past three years and another bid from Gordon's Coral listed at $6,672. A motion to accept the bid from Richfield was made by Tom Kaye, seconded by Devin Wilson, and approved by voice vote.
Interlocal election agreement: The council approved an annual municipal interlocal agreement with Emery County for administration of the city's 2025 elections. The agreement and a companion resolution (Resolution 1-2025) adopting the interlocal were both moved and seconded and passed by voice vote; the motion to approve the interlocal was made by Judd (no last name given) and seconded by Lisa Miller.
