KPMG finished high-utilizer dashboard; Marion County seeks permanent owner

Scott Hole, executive director of Marion County Community Corrections, told the Criminal Justice Planning Council on March 17 that KPMG has completed the dashboard contracted to track high utilizers of multiple systems and that the firm will transfer the dashboard to the city within about a month to six weeks.
The dashboard is intended to combine data from multiple agencies to support case coordination and oversight. “Happy to say that actually, through a couple meetings, realized that the dashboard that was contracted for was completed by KPMG. The data sources were, were built,” Hole said.
Hole said ISA is reviewing the data connections to determine whether feeds from the sheriff’s office, community corrections, CHIP and the prosecutor’s office need updates. Where updates are required, agreements will be circulated to the partner agencies that originally provided data so those feeds can be refreshed. KPMG will work with ISA on the handoff.
The one outstanding matter is identifying a permanent owner for the dashboard — an administrator who would coordinate with ISA on access and permissions. “There have been preliminary discussions with OPHS about them being the possible home since obviously they work with multiple agencies,” Hole said, noting that no agreement is signed.
Hole estimated the tool could be “up and running within the next couple months” once ownership and any required data updates are resolved. Anne Sutton of the Public Defender Agency and a Colonel Martin from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office participated in follow-up conversations with ISA and KPMG, Hole said.
Next steps include ISA completing its review of data connections, partners executing any required data-sharing updates, and a decision by the council or participating agencies on which office will serve as administrator for ongoing access control and maintenance.
