The Marion County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously March 17 to repeal Resolution 24-R-677 and Ordinance 24-34, which had implemented a zoning change for GPK Ocala 1 LLC (case 241210ZP) covering approximately 39.36 acres.
Growth Services staff explained the item was a repeal request and identified the parcel account number. The board heard from one registered speaker, Maureen Merrick, during public comment. Commissioner Stone moved to repeal the resolution and ordinance; Commissioner Curry seconded the motion. The board called the vote and the repeal passed unanimously.
Staff closed public comment after confirming no other speakers wished to address the item. The repeal removes the 1989-to-present zoning change record for the property as described in the agenda.
The board continued with its agenda following the vote.
