County planning and economic development staff described the funding package: an ARC application and an MDA site-development grant left several million dollars in combined funds, part of which has been used for grading and a building pad. Burns’ Dirt (contractor) was previously obligated for initial grading under the original contract and change order No. 1; the current change order will place fresh stone on the loop road and stabilize a drive used by industrial prospects.
Staff said the loop road is intended as permanent site access and will tie into future roads as the park develops. Supervisors asked whether pond fill work and other site tasks were included; staff clarified those items and said some features were outside the current contract scope. The board approved the change order on a unanimous vote and directed staff to finalize contract documents.
