Frederick County Delegation approves transportation priorities letter

The Frederick County Delegation voted to approve a transportation priorities letter during its Feb. 7 delegation meeting in Annapolis and will forward the signed document to the county executive.

The vote came after the chair asked whether there were any questions about the letter and then called for a motion to approve. A motion to approve was made and seconded; the chair called for the vote and members present signified their approval by saying "aye," and the chair directed that the letter be signed and sent to the county executive.

Delegation members did not request additional discussion or amendments during the meeting. The chair said the letter would be signed and sent to the county executive for whatever next steps the county executive's office takes.

The approval occurred near the start of the meeting and took only a few minutes. No detailed amendments or funding changes were discussed on the record during the session.

The delegation moved on to other agenda items after the vote, including two bills the group discussed but did not vote on.
