Resident urges expanded glass drop-off sites; county says it would like to grow program but cited economic constraints

Board Chair Dacus Carantones said the county would like to expand glass recycling "as much as we can" but cited economic reasons for how collection had been scaled and said staff would consider the suggestion as a budget-related comment. No formal decision was taken; board members said they would take the suggestion under advisement and examine operational options.
No ordinance or budget action was adopted at the meeting; residents were encouraged to follow up with county staff and the Department of Environmental Services about specific site requests and signage needs.
