Commissioner Gage Forer was ratified as chair of the Wasatch Front Economic Development District Strategy Committee and Mayor Winn was ratified as vice chair during the committee's March 13, 2025, meeting conducted by Zoom.
The committee moved and seconded the appointment: John Crofts moved to appoint the pair and Chris Stallone seconded. Chair Forer called for those in favor and ruled the motion carried after no opposition was raised.
The committee also approved minutes from its Dec. 13, 2024, meeting by voice vote. John Crofts moved to approve the minutes and a committee member seconded; Chair Forer again called the vote and ruled the motion carried after no opposition was recorded.
Both actions were procedural and took place at the start of the meeting before the committee proceeded to reports, presentations and a legislative recap.
