Professional Fiduciary Bureau committee approves minutes, elects chair and vice chair

The Professional Fiduciary Bureau Advisory Committee on March 12, 2025, voted to approve its December 11, 2024, meeting minutes and elected its 2025 leadership in roll-call votes conducted during the hybrid meeting in Sacramento and by WebEx.
The committee approved the minutes as written and authorized bureau staff to make non-substantive edits. Angela Cuadra, the bureau program analyst, conducted the roll call; committee members Bertha Sanchez Hayden, Elizabeth Ichikawa, Joyce Anthony, James Moore and Alfred Toregano each recorded “yes,” and the motion carried.
During nominations for 2025 leadership, Joyce Anthony nominated Bertha Sanchez Hayden for chair; Elizabeth Ichikawa seconded the nomination. The committee voted by roll call; all five members voted yes and the motion carried. Members then nominated and elected Elizabeth Ichikawa as vice chair; the motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote.
The actions took place without public comment and were recorded by Angela Cuadra and Terry McClain, the bureau program manager. The committee adjourned at 10:53 a.m. after completing the scheduled business.
