Residents press commission on speeding, flooding, parks and code enforcement during public comments

Other recurring items included requests to restore swim lessons at the city pool, concerns about increased rental properties and community engagement, and a request for the city to replace brittle water-main lids in a homeowners association area after the city placed traffic cones but had not fully repaired the covers.
City staff and the city manager said administration would track all public comments and provide progress reports at the next meeting. The mayor and commission thanked residents for attending and asked staff to follow up on the specific items raised.
