House told trustees the YMCA reported staffing needs totaling roughly $183,000 annually for the program; the organization requested $2,500 for staffing and $2,500 for supplies. The committee on youth recommended funding the full $5,000 requested.
Trustees moved and seconded the recommendation and took a roll-call vote; the vote passed with four ayes and zero nays.
The funds will be applied to program staffing and supplies, per the YMCA’s application and the COI committee recommendation. The board did not attach additional conditions to the award in the meeting record and asked staff to include grant disbursement details in the regular financial report to the board.
