The district also reported a recent “lunch and learn” for the nursing program with CPAC, ongoing conversations with the Boys & Girls Club about internships at UPMC (EPMC Hospital referenced), and talks with colleges to expand dual-enrollment opportunities so students can earn college credit before graduation.
Board members described the CTE offerings as an important option for students who may not choose traditional four‑year college pathways and encouraged broad outreach to families and community partners.
