South Salt Lake — The City Council on March 12 approved the mayor’s nomination of Tom Mills to serve as an alternate member of the Civilian Review Board.
Mayor Wood presented Tom Mills’ nomination during the meeting; council members discussed the appointment in the context of a prior work meeting and then took an advice-and-consent vote. Council members voted in favor of the nomination by roll call.
Following the vote council members congratulated Mills and invited him to meet council members in the chambers. The appointment was approved at the meeting; council members expressed appreciation for his willingness to serve.
